We are a group of designers who believe that good design helps to solve real-world problems. 

At some point, during the rapid development of the incredible technologies that billions of us benefit greatly from today, we forgot that we are a part of the natural world, relying on its resources, and are therefore directly affected by its health. Modern society is now witnessing the profound environmental and ecological impacts of global industrialisation and, as designers, we feel a strong sense of responsibility to use our skills in aid of reducing these effects.

Nature has formed some of the most sophisticated supply chains of our world, consisting of ecosystems that contain a series of symbiotic members and mechanisms that provide each other with the energy and materials required to thrive. The systems of man made objects, infrastructure and technology can learn from this. Society needs to adopt its own circular economies, in which any unwanted product of industrial or domestic consumption is considered a valuable resource to be returned to the flow of its own supply chain, or transferred to a new one. The more that the bio and techno-spheres can co-exist and, better yet, blend safely together, the better.

The best solutions balance all three pillars of sustainability: environmental, social and economic, in order to be actionable and effective. This is a challenging endeavour so, as social animals, we will not succeed without communicating and collaborating productively as communities to explore ambitious ideas that will lead to change. As a result, we think that a positive and empathetic approach is critical, fostering accessibility and inclusivity in an effort to enable as many people to contribute as possible.

As a consultancy, we want to design cool products, promote circular economy principles, and encourage collaborative behaviour to help catalyse positive change for everyone.
